Universal External Rechargeable Battery - BP90.
High capacity: This battery capacity is 96 Watt-hour ( or 26000 mAh).
This Universal External Lithium Rechargeable Battery Pack can provide power for laptop computers, digital cameras, digital photo frames, PDAs, cell phones, DVD players, etc.
Features:
1. 3 Output Ports:
Output I is a 5V USB port that can be used to power or charge cell phones,
iPhone/iPod/iPod Touch, MP3/MP4 players, PDAs and any device that can be charged
from a USB port (USB power cable not included).
Output II has a nominal voltage of 11.1V (Range from 9V ~ 12.6V). This port power comes directly from battery cells without voltage regulation. When the battery is fully charged, its voltage is 12.6V. Output voltage will then decrease gradually. Most of the time, the output voltage will be around 10V ~ 11V ( nominal voltage is 11.1V). When the voltage drops to 9V, the port will shut off and stop providing power. This port can be used to power portable DVD players and digital photo frames. Output III can output 3 different voltages: 16V, 19V, 24V. This port can be used to power many different laptop notebook computers and other electronic devices that require stable voltage.
With optional different connector tips, this battery can be used to power or
charge many different laptop computers. 2. High
Capacity:
This battery's capacity is 96 Watt-hour. In most cases, it can double your laptop running time together
with your internal laptop battery. For some small netbook computers, it may even
triple the running time.
3. Wide-range Input Voltage:
This battery can be charged from any 12-24V DC power source. It can also use your current laptop AC power adapter as a charger if it has a 5.5 x 2.1mm
connector.

Optional Connector Tips:
The port III output cable has a 5.5x2.5mm connector built on. It can be changed to a different size connector by plugging on a BiXPower C series connector tip
Port I and Port II can use optional connector tips at
Consumer
Electronics Plug Tips.
How
to use the battery:
1. Charge the battery: The battery's AC charger can use any 100-240V 50Hz/60Hz AC power source.
You can also charge the battery from a car cigarette lighter socket with a car charger, or use solar power with a solar panel.
2. Decide Battery Output Voltage:
The battery output voltage should be close to your laptop power adapter output voltage or laptop computer input voltage
|
|
Step 2a: Refer to the label on AC adapter for your notebook - to check the "Output" power.
|
Step 2b: Refer to the label stuck on the bottom of your notebook - to check the "power input" requirement.

Port III Output Voltage Setup
There are 3 LED lights to indicate port III output voltages. When you plug the output cord into port III, one LED will light to show you the current active output voltage.
To set up or change Port III's output voltage:
1. Pull out the output cable from Port III
2. Press and hold the "CHECK" button for about 3 seconds.
3. One of the LED indicators will begin flashing. This shows the port's current voltage.
4. Press and release the "CHECK" button, the flashing LED will jump to a different voltage. Continue to press the "CHECK" button until it jumps to the voltage you want.
5. Plug in the power cable to Port III
The port III output voltage will be locked after the output cable is plugged into the port. This will prevent the output voltage from being changed accidentally during the use. To change the output voltage, please remove the output cable from the port first and then repeat the above procedures.
Port III output voltage may go back to 16V after the battery is fully
discharged. Please make sure Port III output voltage is set at correct voltage before using battery. If the output voltage LED is not shown at correct after plug in power cable, please remove the output cable from Port III and reset the battery output voltage to correct voltage according to instructions.
3. According to output voltage, select Output Port and Connector Tip.
RFQ for BP90 battery:
Question: Will BP90 battery Port III output voltage changes from one voltage to another voltage if Iaccidentally press the button?
Answer: No. When the power output cable is plugged to the Port III, the voltage is locked. It can not be changed by pressing any button. To change the voltage, you have to remove the cable from the output port.
Question: If my device use 16V power, I set the battery at 24V, will it damage my device?
Answer: Most likely it will not. It is not high voltage, but rather large current that will damage a device. By Ohm's Law, high voltage means large current when the power source can supply unlimited power. However, BP90 battery has limited output capacity: at 16V, its maximum output current is 4 Amps, at 24V, its maximum output current is even less: only 2.5 Amps.
Combine 2 ( or more) batteries together to provide more running time:
If you need more running time, you may connect 2 batteries together in parallel with BiXPower Y25 Split Connector :
Y25 Split Connector Not Included
Cautions: To link two batteries in this way, please make sure:
1. The output voltage of two batteries is set at same.
2. Any single battery has ability to power the powered device by itself.
Only Port III can be linked this way. The purpose of link two or more batteries together is to provide longer running time without interruption. There is no balance control between two batteries . One battery may output more power than another battery and run out of power earlier than another battery. This will not be a problem if a single battery output power is enough to run powered device. However, if the powered device power demand is more than a single battery capability, it may run to problem when one battery run out of power earlier.
Notes: Only a few BiXPower batteries ( such as BP90, BP100, BP160 and BP220 batteries) have been specially designed to allow multi batteries to connect in this way. Other batteries may not be allowed to be connected together in this way (unless specially mentioned).
You may also use multi Y25 Split Connector to Daisy Chain more batteries to provide even more power. Please make sure all batteries output voltages are set at same. Fully charge each battery separately before connect them together.
The battery regular Z6 output cable can fit Y25 connector female end, which will be combined output port in this case. You may use BiXPower Special Cable with On/Off Switch : which can be used power output cable directly without battery regular Z6 output cable.
