This battery's output voltage range is 21-29.5V. Nominal output voltage is 25.2V. When the battery is fully charged, its output voltage is 29.5V. The output voltage will drop gradually during the discharge process and the final cut off voltage is 21V:

This battery was specifically designed for e-bikes. If you wish to pair this battery with other devices, make sure those devices accept every voltage in the 20-30V (DC) range and require 300W or less power.

Using a lithium-ion battery offers many advantages over older SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries because of lithium-ion's high energy density, small size, and low weight. A typical lithium-ion battery has 1/4 of the weight and is 1/2 of the size of a same capacity traditional heavy bulky Sealed Lead Acid battery.

This battery only weighs 5 pounds. A same capacity Sealed Lead Acid battery weighs around 20 pounds.

Successfully used as Replacement for Schwinn Battery

We replaced the battery of a Schwinn Tailwind with this battery. It holds a charge much longer than the Toshiba battery and is both smaller and more lightweight. We are enormously pleased with the results. It attaches pretty easily with only minimal intrusion into the battery controller. I've not ridden it more than a few trips to the store but it functions just fine. I'll ride it longer to get an idea of the range but so far it's been flawless.

I used this battery to replace the original lithium battery on my 2008 Schwinn electric bike. Schwinn doesn't sell replacement batteries. Anyway, this one works great, and it's smaller and lighter than the original one. I'm happy with the purchase, and I wholeheartedly recommend the product for this application.
