BiXPower DC Power Connector Converter CNT-LX745

One end of this connector is a 7.4 x 5.08mm female jack. The other end is a 4.5 x 2.8mm male connector. The cable between two ends is made with high quality 16AWG wires.

This connector can change a 7.4 x 5.08mm male connector with center pin (Outside Diameter 7.4mm, Inside Diameter 5.08mm) to a 4.5x2.8mm male connector with center pin.

Please note that this converter is just a connector. It does not have any circuit boards inside to control voltage and current. Please make sure your old power adapter's output voltage and current meet your new device's requirements before using this converter.

7.4 x 5.08mm connector is widely used as Dell and HP/Compaq laptop power adapter's connectors.
4.5 x 2.8mm connector is widely used for many new Dell /HP and other laptop power adapters.

You can use this converter to use Dell power adapters with a 7.4 x 5.0mm connector for new Dell computers that need a 4.5 x 2.8mm power connector. You can also use it on HP/Compaq power adapters with 7.4 x 5.0mm connectors for new HP/Compaq computers that need a 4.5 x 2.8mm power connector. However, you can not use Dell power adapters for HP/Compaq computers, even if they have the same size connectors.

Note: This converter's female side will only accept round shape connectors. You can not use this converter if your power adapter connector is not a round shape. Some Dell power adapters have octagonal shaped connectors, which will not fit the female side of this converter. LX745 Connector Converter actually consists of two connectors:
One connector is the BiXPower CNT-C32 connector, which has a 4.5 x 2.8mm with center pin male plug and a 5.5 x 2.5mm female jack.
The other connector is the BiXPower CNT-X75 connector, which has a 7.4 x 5.08mm female jack,and a 5.5 x 2.5mm male connector.

The CNT-C32 connector is interchangeable and can be removed from CNT-X75 and replaced by other BiXPower C series connectors to form different connectors.
