Lithium-ion battery vs. Lead Acid Battery

Using a Lithium-ion battery offers many advantages over older SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) batteries because of Lithium-ion's high energy density, small size, and low weight. A typical Lithium-ion battery may only be 1/5 of the weight and 1/2 of the size compared to a same capacity traditional heavy bulky Sealed Lead Acid batter.

This DC to DC power adapter can convert 36V DC (range 25-48V) to 19V DC power. Maximum output 10A (190W)

It can directly connect to a 36V lithium ion battery or any battery with output voltage range between 25V to 48V. Its maximum output is 10A (190W)

This DC to DC power adapter's input side has two 16AWG bare wires. The output is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector with 16AWG wires. It is very easy and flexible to connect with batteries and other power source.

Input: The red color is for Positive input and the black color is for Negative/Ground input. It is CRITICAL that the power adapter is connected correctly in polarity to the power source: Positive on adapter connects to Positive on power source. Negative on adapter connects to Negative on power source. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SEVERE DAMAGES.

Output: The output connector is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector. This connector can only handle 10A current for a short period of time. It is recommended for use with a continuous current 6A ( 120W) or less. Most laptop computers that come with a 180W to 240W power adapter actually need less than 120W of power most of the time.
